Currently wear a Pepsi BFK Seiko Kinetic for work, but am looking for a quartz replacement that I don't have to worry about bashing, or have to fully charge again after days off etc.
Show me yours!
Budget is less than BFK !

Have been looking at Citizen. Prefer crown at 2000hrs for something different.
I wear an old Pulsar that I bought pre-beat-up. I find that if I have a new watch, I get nervous about marking it up (even if it's a cheapo) - but if it already looks like hell when I buy it used, no biggie.

That's my thoughts exactly. Need an already used beater so I don't stress about it. And keep my best as out of work rotation.
This has been my work beater...

My normal work watch is a Seiko automatic, but my back up, reserve beater is this H3 Traser that I picked up at a local flea market for a few quid....Glows like a torch at night!

I pretty careful with all of my watches, but this 7548-7000 looks the part.

Best wishes,
Myles

7548-7000 for me every day ... Has become a favorite, would really miss it, takes a lickin' ( the flat sapphire helps with its durability I think)

Look away children, my quartz beater is horrible. So much so that it lives in my work bag and only comes out in emergencies.

Thats fine custom texture Sir, looks like a beautiful watch under all that.

oooooooooo, I would never work with that Baby,
I'd be to nerve wrecked.
Hmmm. My work (hospital) is usually very watch friendly, unless I have to assist on another ward where patients can get very agressive. (I work at an psychiatric hospital) So making sure the watch has a seconds hand for measuring the pulse is usually enough. I do try not to wear the more fragile watches I have. (like the omega megasonic)

Some quartz watches I use at work:

I can go on for a while, but I like to choose reliable, comfortable wearing watches :)

Generally wear this when I'm working around the house (gardening, repairs, etc.) I work as a teacher so desk diving marks are the worst that my daily wearers get.

Shouldn't that thing be wearing a respirator?
