Seiko vs common watch rivalries

I think the classic watch rivalry or head-to-head comparison is between the Rolex Submariner and the Omega Seamaster. If you're doing any sort of brand comparisons, these two are the ones people mention most.

Then there are the other product levels:

Rolex Datejust vs Omega AquaTerra vs Zenith Defy
IWC vs Breguet
Omega Speedmaster vs Breitling Chronomat

Now, where do you guys feel Seiko fits into these comparisons? Which Seiko models would you put up to compete against any of the big name watches?

Here's a few off the top of my head:

How about the Pelagos 39 vs the SPB143 (I have a feeling that the 62mas would do double-double duty against so many divers. It's so elegant and versatile)
