Hi There,

My late mother bought me this watch back in 2001 from Singapore Airport. I have had it serviced regularly by Seiko UK in Maidenhead.

Recently it stopped and I thought it was the battery but I also noticed the second hand had come adrift.

I took it into Seiko UK in Maidenhead and they sent it back saying the parts to repair my watch were no longer available from Seiko Japan.

Does anyone know where I can get my watch repaired?

Kind regards

Austin

Hi Austin and welcome to the SCWF.

The caliber 7T32 is no longer serviced by Seiko? That's not good, but fortunately, you've got options.

As you are in the UK, I would contact SirAlan or GuyJ (members here) and ask them to service your chronograph. If the movement is dead, there are lots of cheap donor watches around and they could swap the movement for a working one.

Hi Mr Jones,

Thanks for this and warming news that not all is lost.

Please excuse my naivety, but how do I contact Sir Alan or Guy J?

Kind regards

Austin
