Okay, let's get one thing clear, I DID NOT buy a dozen watches!!
That would be crazy, even for me! :-D
Here is the very large EMS bag that arrived.
Inside the bag, a very tidy bundle.
And that bundle breaks down into six smaller, tidy packages!
Let's pick one at random. Since this is my second package deal with this seller, I'll call this item "2a".
Under the wrapping a free plastic storage box.
Inside the storage box, what looks like a watch!
Yup, it's a watch, it looks like a old Seiko.
In fact it is a 1969 Seikomatic-P Weekdater, model 5106-7030, with a 33 jewel automatic, hacking movement running at 19800 bph.
It is in good shape overall with an interesting tree-bark-like texture to the dial, but with some white deposit on the underside of the crystal.
I may put on my big-boy pants and open this one up and try to clean the crystal myself. It will be fun to have a project!
The crown side, with the distinctive hexagonal center-pusher that is used to quick-set the date.
The other side...
And finally, the vitally important, vintage watch case-back view.
Okay, only five more to go1 :-D
Please look for further postings, "Seiko Package Deal 2b", "Seiko Package Deal 2c" and so forth, okay?
Thanks for clicking in!
