Hi all,

I'm considering buying a Seiko Levante. Does anyone know where I can find a manual for a Seiko 7F38-7040. And does anyone know the purpose of the upper left dial that looks like a compass?

Thanks,
henrylr

The upper left dial is a 24 hour display.

Not sure on the manual but founds these comments on a WUS thread from 2012.

  • The push button near 'East' sets the dial for the moonphase. Press the button to set the dial one day foreward. If it does not move using your finger, you can try to push it carefully with a ball pen. If it's stuck the watch has to be cleaned.
  • The crown between 'East' and 'South': Pull once and set the date and day. Pull twice to set the time.
  • The crown between 'West' and 'North'. Pull to set the time for a second timezone on the 24er dial.
