Hi All,
Please check the photo and can anyone help me to name the black ring part?
I was cleaning the bezel on the right and removed this part/gasket?
Check out the gunk that has built up over 30 years.
So am I right in saying that this part is the bezel gasket?
Does anyone no what the crystal gasket looks like or is this it?
Kind regards
Wayne

Yup, that's a bezel gasket. See how it's round in cross section - crystal gaskets are usually 'L' shaped in cross section.

Also known as the rotating ring gasket. Seiko often uses "bezel " to mean the ring that holds the crystal down, as opposed to the timekeeping, moveable ring.

Thank you feca67 and 7s26b, for your help.
I think I am in luck with the gasket set just purchased from Spring-Diver should have one.
But missing a crystal gasket it was out of stock.
Does anyone have another good source for H558 a crystal gasket?
Kind regards
Wayne
