I have a nice 0702 piece that just doesnt run..I am an electronics repair tech too, and cant find anything about the transistor thats on the circuit board, can u test/replace..I dont know specs of it, can find manuals of 3702, but not the 0702..Any help is appreciated…like buying a replacement circuit board, or info on testing components, etc..thanks

This may be helpful. Check the coils resistance. There are 2 within the one.

Already have, and from what I see of the schematic showing the two coils have one common side connected, they have continuity. I have read through that watchfettling article (awesome detail!), it does not address the electronics Deep enough. Would like to know what kind of transistor, maybe an equivalent value, or replace it or the board…need a part number…?

There is a gentleman by the name of Andy Wendle over in the UK who is a master at these digital Seikos. Some call him Dr Digital. You might look him up on the FB group Retro and Vintage Watches and Restorations run by Michael Bolton. I am sure he could assist you.
