A while back I posted about a 6309-729A that I brought back from the dead and put a domed crystal, new dial and hands..

then I changed it to 6105 dial with monster hands..

Well I managed to pick up a 6309-7040 from Ramon on eBay.. It had dial from a 7s26 diver and a 7290 caseback.. So I cleaned up the case and transplanted the parts from the 729A that I had modded previously..

Great job. I put a Blue saphire crystal on my 7C46, and got rid of the silver bezel and replaced it with a black bezel. Looks more like the 7549 now but modern.

I am a sucker for Monster hands. I have put them in just about everything but a 7040, but, I have to say.... It looks good. Nice work on that one.

I got mine from Noah Fuller.. Unfortunately for all, he passed away awhile back and is missed.. Jake B carried on his work along with his own business at 10watches.com

Man just cant find even one. :03: Wish I knew some magic.
