Hello folks,

I have a 6138-3002 that was manufactured September 1974 and the length of the hour hand is bugging me. The hour hand on mine is short and falls short of the minute track by 1-2 mm. I notice that the majority of 300X's have long hour hands that touch the minute track so I was wondering if mine had been replaced or did the 300X come with a short hour hand at some time?

I know the 0011 UFO had a short hour hand but this was far earlier in the 70's, so has mine been replaced, possibly with a 6139 job?

Any help appreciated to ease my OCD:biggrin:

Thank you I think I got that, there are three lengths of hands and the 300X has the longest.

After careful examination of my 6138 collection what I have at the moment are the hands from a 0011/0020/0030/0040 etc fitted to my 3002.
