I had the chance to buy an all original 1974 Seiko Navigator Timer with excellent dial and hands and the original bracelett.
Even on a very close look the watch and the bracelett looks unpolished, that's the way I like it.
It had bad scratches and some cracks on the side of the crystal and the lume from the triangle on the bezel-ring fell off.

So I deceided to buy a new crystal and a bezel-ring. The watch was really dirty and so was the bracelett.

after a few rounds in the ultrasonic cleaner the dirt was gone. The case has some pitting where the dirt was sitting for several decades, but nothing too serious and fortunately the nothing reached the inside of the watch, so the movement looks like new.

The old and the new ring. the over-all condition wasn't too bad, but the new ring is NOS and I like the "complete" look.

bezel and crystal installed

dropped in the movement, very clean and runs strong.

adjusted the end-links and ready to rock (bezel set to my UTC time zone):
