Up for sale is my Seiko 6105-8009 from May of 1979. I bought it and planned to have it restored but I bought two at the time and decided to fix up the other one. The case is unpolished and in very good condition other than one minor ding on the top left lug. Bezel shows some scratches but in person they aren't bad or very noticeable. Friction bezel moves bi-directionally as it should. Crown also pops in and out as it should (these don't screw down). Dial lume looks original? and nice but the text appears to be a reprint so I'll say it's an aftermarket dial. The hands are also not correct or original. I believe they are what is called "service" hands. The movement appears to be clean and is a 6105A which is correct for the manufacture date. It does run with a few shakes but I cannot attest to it's accuracy or power reserve; my plan was to have it serviced/restored. Quick set date and time work. Crystal is scratched. I do have a correct long sweep hand that I can include in the sale. I believe this would make a very nice fixer upper and has potential to be a very nice watch in the end, all that needs to be sourced is a dial and hour/minute hands (although I can possibly help with those). Otherwise there are some really nice parts (bezel, case, movement) that could serve as nice donors. My preference is to not part it out but I will consider it depending on interest.
