Dear friends I need your valuable feedback.

I grabbed yesterday this amazing watch, part of Seiko history...

Although the price was tempting enough to get it, I knew I had to deal with some issues..

1. Bezel although original is from another model, however seller did gave me the old one that has a crack

Any ideas from the experts on how (with what super glue) to glue it back in one piece will be appreciated...

2. The dial although is in great condition, is missing the luminous material, which is strange ...meaning I could not find any after market dials for sale, while if dial is original and luminous material is removed then would not there be marks on the dial?
Any thoughts would be appreciated..

3.pusher seems to be of another model since it looks taller..

Any other points spotted feel free to contribute...

Finally the mov will definitely need a service, while the good thing is that the chrono functions as should..

Regarding the dial, there were many different versions. Some had lume, others not. Just different. Yours is a not Lumed variant. No worries. Hands look to be original too.

Yes the pusher button is incorrect but if it functions please grab some photos as the hobby could sure use a valid replacement work around !

That bezel looks all wrong. Something that fits I guess. There are excellent reproduction bezels now. Check eBay. Seller is in France I believe.

I believe that is the correct, later style bezel for a 5719. It's Seiko's upgraded bezel from that original piece of junk plastic bezel which was common to wear + breakage.
Here's the one on my 5719 project watch

So great to learn a bit more about these 45999s. I've had a few and my pristine silver dial is waiting for it's Presage reissue brother to join him but that's another chapter for another day. Today let's talk about that bezel!

Doing a quick internet search I see a few with the bezel you show as the replacement. I now understand that was used for some models.

I have not yet gotten accustomed to the look but I must say seems an authentic choice.
