Gonna be moving out to LA soon and could really use a good Seiko expert once I’m out there. My whole collection could use look over, but I got in a 6139-6022 today that could really use some love - crystal cane with some cracks in in, plus the day/date quickset is a little gunked up.

If anyone knows someone I should reach out to please let me know!

I have been seeing John at TIME ESSENTIALS in Pasadena for years. He can service just about anything, but he’s a Seiko specialist. He rebuilt the crown on my 6105 diver, overhauled many 6139’s etc. he gets busy so a service can take a few weeks but he always backs up he’s work and his prices are very reasonable.

His number is 626-844-7807

Welcome to SoCal! 🌞

I'm 90 miles North in the Santa Barbara area. I'm no watchmaker but have been thinking about trying to organize a SoCal Seiko collector's meetup. There are a lot of Angelenos on here, I think we have the critical mass to make it happen
