So I saw another poster showing his BM8180-03E with the mineral swapped out for a domed acrylic and thought it looked cool so have it a go. What do you guys think?

I know there are more complex mods to do but just getting into it before stepping things up a bit...

That's what I thought, it makes the dial shine more (if a black dial can shine? and just makes it pop. I didn't think such a simple mad could make such a difference:)

One of the best things about a domed acrylic crystal is how easy the scratches come off with polywatch or similar, I prefer the look of it as well.

I really like that. What size crystal did you use? You could throw some proper field watch hands on there pretty easy too...
