Question: Best place to learn about / buy a G-Shock

A friend of mine wants one (a robust watch that he can wear to work and doesn't have to worry about getting hit/wet/painted/dropped on the floor/...), I try to help him out....

tiktox is a popular G Shock dealer in Europe. Check them out. Any model is good enough for your friend's need. I'd decide on color and size before function.

Sjors in Belgium and his site Peopleland is the original G Shock site to learn ALL about Gs!!! His knowledge is legendary...IMO
