I still don't think Seiko themselves uses the VK67 equivalent (that is, a chrono with a chrono hour register instead of a 24-hour register) on any of their own watches. A shame, really...

Incidentally, those SII "sample" watches are a hell of a collectible! Kind of like when Shimano introduces a new mechanical group set and brings bikes to the trade shows badged with the name of the group set on the frame (i.e. an "Ultegra" Bike).

Bonus: Link to a video showing CGI versions of those watches

Also, the catalog page with the specifications of these movements for OEMs:

69C- Wow, that Seiko chrono looks just like the big 'O' Speedmaster.A very handsome watch, indeed, plus it has the date so you got more than the 'O' model has. Nice Buy.Good luck wearing it.--Eli-

Always wanted a spring drive but they are all Grand Seiko far beyond my watch budget allocation. As I was window shopping on the GS I got to see this beauty and at under US$ 500 couldn't resist it, its my first Kinetic.

I'm new to this site. I purchased a Pagani Design chronograph aka Daytona from Ali Express. But my presbyopia (poor near vision) makes reading the silver hands against the white dial difficult.

The movement is the Hattori/Seiko VK63 and I would like to replace the hands with dark hands, preferably black, including the hour hand (1.50mm) the minute hand (.90mm), the sweep chrono hand (.32mm) and the 3 subdial hands (.32mm). Can anyone help me find the hands?

Thank you
