Hi guys I've got a few ingersoll and smith empire pocket watches commonly known as the dollar watch sitting in my draw, all ebay specials after I serviced my sisters better halfs fathers ingersoll, how easy was that, screws are sooo big haha, anyway all mine are missing mainsprings and barrels.
Lots of searching and they seem to be pretty hard to come by which is a pain as it's stopping me getting these up and running again, so does anyone know of a replacement from another movement that would fit or am I stuck with the hunt to find these elusive springs and barrels. Cheers for any help

They weren't called dollar watches for nothing. They were made to be worn until they stopped and then pitched. They weren't made to be serviced they were so cheap. There aren't too many around. You need to find parts watches.
