First of all apologies for the non Japanese content, but it was a job lot.

The 7548 is a runner, case is over polished and battered, hands corroded and an AM strap
The Stendardo is a non runner and probably a fake

No car boot for us today Ivor, rubbish weather.

Like Mark said not particularly cheap but you must of thought a good buy because you bought it, good luck with it :)

I received this from my USA shipping agent this week, cost me $75, bought as a stated non runner for spares/TST.

Stripped it and found that the stem was broke of in the movement and water had got in and totally corroded the keyless works and other bits.

Stripped it and replaced the corroded/damaged parts, service, new crystal and gaskets, popped a battery in it and away she went.

Crown screwed down four turns which was nice and it also came on its original GL831 strap minus the keeper.

Sellers picture, not got round to taking a picture of it finished, so busy :)

Like you say looks pretty clean, is that just dirt by the gasket ?
