Hi All

Im brand new to this game. Ive been lurking for a couple of weeks doing some reading. After owning several modern Seiko Automatics and Kinetics in the past, I've just picked up my first old seiko over the weekend. My new baby is a KS 5246-6020 in need of some love.

Are there watchmakers in Perth (Western Aus) that specialise in Seiko, or should any reputable watchmaker be able to service it and replace the glass?

Thanks in advance, and I'm sure this will be the first of many, many questions.

cheers
scott

I've had a couple done, in the past, by DAYCO in the Trinity Arcade, but lately he has passed on doing a couple for me.

That's the one in Perth. There are also quite a few forum members in Perth as well. I'm sure they will give you a yell.

Thanks everyone. I was recommended a repairer by a gentleman at a collectables fair. My first ks is with them now so we'll see how that plays out.

Hi Scott. I thought I recognised your handle - I'm guessing it was you who just missed out on a bell-matic I sold on eBay on the weekend and were also most likely the Scott I traded a few emails will earlier in the week. I don't know if it's your proximity to SE Asia, but WA seems to be a good source of vintage Seikos. Welcome from Hobart.
