Part 2) Original 6105-811X dial or after market ?
My first thought on seeing this was it is after market, poor markers, poor script and no - next to the number at six yet i also thought the hour markers looked original so i couldent wait to strip the dial from the movement to see the back of the dial and as you can see it has the impressed markers showing that it is original.
By coincidence this is the second one i have had of late and both of them came with the later Seiko replacement hands and both from different sources. What first made me think they were original was the fact the Seiko logo had "corroded" like on so many of the original dials.
Note the poor quality lume job on the last picture that must have been done at the time of the repaint, but at least the hour markers line up better on the second dial.
As stated i would rather use one of these though than one of the poor after market ones.
