Hi John, it looks like there are quite a few differences from original, the Suwa symbol is an odd shape, the 12 o'clock minute hash is rough, the script at the bottom of the dial doesn't line up with the minute hashes properly ,the "- " is missing before the 8009 T, the Seiko and automatic are not parallel, I'm guessing aftermarket !.

Hour markers look like original, aftermarket ones normally have softer, more rounded edges.

I am going to go with original but repainted...

A genuine dial...that has been refinished. The profile of the hour markers is a dead give-away. On GENUINE (d'oh!) dials, the dial markers have a completely square profile. Aftermarket markers are slightly rounded. ---A

Aaron (and Technoman) got it, I think (although Aaron's last sentence is a little confusing.... ) Seems to be an original dial refinished with a less-than-perfect printing (at least it's better than a couple I've seen done by hand!). Given the choice, though, I'd rather wear this one than an aftermarket with the rounded frames and incorrect green lume.

all of the white printing looks smudgy and weird. I'm going to go with the majority and say it's original but repainted

The Back of the dial is as the Org ones. It has the imprints, just like ORG Dial.Stamped in.
John emailed me yesterday with this . There is one thing that makes it all ,Clear to me.
The Dial #s look at any 6105 dial Rest or Proof There is a Small line before the 8000 or the 8009 This does not have the LINE

John had asked me , and all i could say was I have never seen a 6105 org dial w/o the line, but I a;also felt
it was ORg and could be used, as needed but I think it may have been a Dial he was working on.?

The Back wold give you the ORG look ,to make it a " For Sure ORG Dial"

I have two Dials Especially one that is so Perfect except for 9 faded min Markers and the other has 6 min markers faded

I don't have the steady hand needed, but You know finding Beautiful 100% org Dials , not so easy, It just Bothers me??

They will be on two 6105s I wil be selling soon, I was hoping whoever winds up buying them can fix them or is

Sane enough to see 95% of perfection rather then 5% of faded markers LOL

Trying to understand how that one area of a Dial 6105 dial one rest one Proof both different areas fade when the rest of the dial remains unaffected????
