The only way to fight companies like Omega and the other snobs is to never give them a dime of your hard earned money. When I buy anything with moving parts that is expensive I always make it a point to do some research on how good their service is. The way I look at it you are not just buying a psychical item but you are paying for the service that comes with it. A good item with a crappy service department is a worthless item to me.
