Greetings All,

So I was going through an old box the other day and came across my Seiko A638-5020 - which I had always randomly thought had been a Casio for some reason? Anyway, had it for ages, never worked, had a new battery put in and the thing's running fine for the first time in well over 20 years.

I'm just curious as to its value as there isn't much sale info on that model around the interwebs. Am I allowed to ask a rough value on here? Apologies if not.

Noticed one page where the same model had been sold but there was no price and the watch was in far poorer quality than mine anyway.

The serial no. is 170001 - do I need to cross-reference with an internal serial no. to get the exact production date or something? The watch was first manufactured in '81.

I even have the original instruction manual!

Any advice appreciated in advance :]

THE WATCH IS NOT FOR SALE. (Fallen in love with it. Wearing it. RETRO!)
