Absolute disgrace how the Swiss are acting. Here in Australia , the ACCC, a government anti competition and regulatory authority , started investigating the business practises of the swatch group. In particular, swatch removed the agencies of jewellers selling omega watches and replaced them with company owned stores. Never found the outcome. I would suspect not much came out of it.
The blocking of spare parts to watchmakers would be akin to ford or Toyota not selling spare parts to mechanics or the public.
