King David - The pleasure was mine and thank you for your trust in allowing me to work on such a fine timepiece as your beloved KS 5626. I know you know your way around a watch movement so the fact that you would ask me to service one of your timepieces means a great deal to me. Like so many of these, the Day/Date quickset star gear was cracked. Certainly new territory for me in fixing one of these quickset mechanisms and so thankful for folks like Adrian at VTA for making the necessary part to complete the fix. I love learning new skills and this one allowed me to stretch myself a bit.

Also want to give a very special thank you to Tom (Seikopsycho2) without which I would not be able to accomplish much of the service work I am able to perform for members. Thank you Tom.

Very nice piece and I saw John’s post. Thank you for sharing that restoration John. We don’t get to see many of these and I was happy to finally see the inner workings of one of these calibers.
