A 1970 magazine ad, featuring a 6139.

The watch below it is a 6106 I believe - one was just for sale on El Bayo with the original band - I didn't pick it up. What about the others?

What is the square one? I kind of like that one...

One JUST sold on eBay a week ago or so, on the original bracelet, out of Texas.

The Square one is a woman's 2517-0399. It is the counterpart of the men's 6106-7509. Here are both of them from my collection:

The green one is a 6106-8207. Here is mine:

you may be right, but if it's a 7000 series caliber it would be a Daini logo, not Suwa. I wish there was a bigger picture of it.

I own the original ad - I'll get a really nice high-res scan going for the database. :)

I like to recreate this old Seiko ad of mine.

"Wanna see my Seiko chronograph?"

Cheesey or what? :))

Hilarious, gotta love them tacky ad campaigns. Who thinks of these things? Japanese or American ad agency here?
But it makes for great entertainment decades later. ;)
