It has incorrect or aftermarket hands. Those hand sets are for sale on eBay also.

Dial is aftermarket as well, if you take a look at the incorrectly aligned numbers at the min subdial.
Chronograph hands are at least repainted (haven't seen this bright yellow on my originals).

Techno: no the seller (in the Philippines, natch) says it's amazing and rare.


Mike is the winner, couldn't believe that the freakin' tach ring is UPSIDE DOWN ) and there are multiple bidders on it. I didn't pick up on the dial being AM but yes it is - font on "Seiko" is wrong - all parts of "S" are the same thickness instead of the thin cross-strokes that it's supposed to have


I'll post how much it goes for in the end.

I'll have to defer to the judgment of someone more knowledgeable than me. I always [i]assumed[/i] that my watch was all original. I could be very wrong! ;)

Don't worry Jeff, the JDM-Speedtimer version has no lume.
Your watch looks absolutely legit to me as I couldn't spot a difference comparing it to the one shown in the Museum Book No.9:
