I got this nice '83 diver :) Unfortunately the calendar was malfunctioning. It turned out to be flooded with oil. Quite easy to clean :) The other problem was the destroyed cannon pinion, the end was gnawed off, making it almost impossible to reliably fit the minute hand.


But the cannon pinion from a decaying dress watch 6309 movement is a perfect fit!

Dial is not perfect but nice enough for me.



No idea if the hands are original. After the tinkering the seconds hand lost some of it's lume :(



The bezel insert is aftermarket, according to the seller. (I think he's right)
But it's a nice wearer now :)

Nice bracelet ain't it? Seller called it a "bracelet est d'origine seiko quartz (bonne maille vissée)"
