newbie intro & show & tell

Hello to all I am new here but have been 'collecting' (hoarding and unable to throw away any old watch for years if I am truthful!) watches for some time.
I have other interests ie cycling, old bicycles, old binoculars and old Sheffield made 'penknives' anything in fact that is old and vaguely mechanical (this is what happens when you get made redundant and have served time as an apprentice in engineering...you have to keep your hand in, at least thats how I tell it to my good lady wife!)
Anyway I digress here hopefully are some pictures of a recent aquisition a 1981? Seiko 5
