New Seiko SRP579

Looks very cool and I do like it. But, seems a hodgepodge of design elements. The airplane second hand and diagonal lines near the date window make it very aeronautical in feel, but the compass bezel would be more apropos to a field watch, not a pilots watch. It works for me...it's just odd.

Like daveswordfish says. The altimeter-styled date window is not really doing it for me either, especially since the indicated date is awkwardly positioned at 3:15-ish

How does a compass bezel like that work?

Check the link not a true compass persay but might come in handy on a sunny day and no GPS!
