Greetings from muggy Georgia!

This V736-6a20 came in last week from the 'bay with some coil damage. Turns out that the V736 and the (still in production) 7n36 are interchangeable. Been wearing it about a week as my daily beater. Case finishing isn't quite up to the level of contemporary Seikos, but hey - also not too bad for their budget brand either! I was thinking about a new crystal, but decided that the light surface scratching will help to ensure it stays my beater.

Any other Pulsar fans out their?

Cheers,
TW

Nice Pulsar Diver! Here's a Pulsar VD53 Chronograph I picked up at Kohl's earlier this year. I own very few dress/chronograph watches, however, something about this one really appealed to me. I think it's because it kinda recalls the looks of the old Seiko RAF chronographs.

I like my Pulsar. The PVD coating could be a little more durable, but the watch itself is pretty nice.

A nice looking watch, Pat! I'd never really considered Pulsar watches before this one (I'm a sucker for Pepsi bezels). I think I'm going to have to start looking further into other models!

Pulsars are great values for the money. They've got real Seiko/Hattori movements yet are made outside of Japan (China & Taiwan - I think). I wouldn't recommend buying them from a large box store like I did as you'll pay far less online. But, was getting the girlfriend a Pulsar "chronograph" that day, and I wanted her to able to see & pick out her watch.
