Nice one Neilo, guess you will be looking for a new box any time soon.

I've two duplex's both the same model. One ofthe movements is u/s,just keeps flashing er for error.
So on the look out for a cheap trashed beater that has a working movement.then I can swap them over.
Or I may just move it on as it is. I bought it knowing the problem, thought it would be an easy fix ,not so.

Nice one, Neilo, congrats!
I just fell in love with these JP1010s, especially how the depth sensor looks from the side. And Citizens shiny blue dials look great! Enjoy the watch!

Dave i recommend any of the Aqualands obviously, yet the Duplex versions are really a very practical watch with some great features.
Yes i have bought a few lately,i did manage to get a Black cased Aqualand Classic CO Series yesterday with some major problems but its off to my Guru Greg in USA to try and sort out as the case is clean and im hoping it can be restored to working condition. Thanks dave for the comments as usual mate.Neilo ;)

That's the exact same model I bought for my son, who's into all types of adventure sports such as skiing, kayaking, rock-climbing, surfing, etc. Unusually, it came on a Citizen bracelet (probably not original to the watch) with an instantly adjustable clasp, à la MM300. Imho, it should be compulsory for ALL bracelets to be fitted with such clasps. :)

The only trouble is, he likes the Aqualand so much he doesn't want to scratch or damage it in any way during his 'adventures', so he wears a Casio G-shock when he's doing the dangerous stuff, and saves the Aqualand for best as his 'dress' watch. Why does he remind me of me, I wonder?

Incidentally, the Aqualand duplex is favoured by many police and rescue divers here in Australia due to its functionality and toughness. They recognise bang for the buck when they see it.

Hi Neilo, took the battery out new one in then an all reset. No luck when I bought it I thought that would be the fix. Took it down to the Citizen and Aqua land repair shop here in Brisbane. He said the dive part of the computer chip is stuffed, $300+ AUD for replacement movement. Told him I would not bother at this time. Didn"t have the heart to tell him I can pick up Brand new one for $250 or so.
I only paid $80 for my defective one any ways ,so in no great rush , Either way I decide to go with it, find a donor movement or move it on as is.

Cheers for now Tony

Ps Will be up your way some time in June ,my cousin lives in Alnwich. So will be spending a few days there on our UK visit.
Might have chance for a quick catch up and coffee together. The Tiger is already in the frame as he is going to give my 6105 a going over/spa treatment
regards T

Hi Chris,Now that query would be worth the ask!!!Ive no doubt like me and you the bezel inserts would be a great seller for them.I need about 10 of them at least for the classic.I could send one as the template to do a 1:1 copy from. ;)

It would be soooooo good if Harold (Yobokies) or Noah could have bezel inserts replacement made for the classic CO22 model (both silver and gold series), wouldn't it?

I would definitely buy them. ;)
