New addition to the family: 6139-6010

This Proof/Proof Chrono dating from August 1969 arrived from the USA a few days ago. All I did was wash the case and replace the crystal & seal with one of Swedefreak's excellent repro-crystals, which revealed an absolutely flawless dial, tachy-ring, hand-set combination!

This must have been a much-loved and very well-cared-for watch, as the case is in excellent state, and the movement is one of the cleanest I've yet seen! Accurate too - it has lost less than 5 seconds in 4 days, and the chronograph functions perfectly - with a crisp snap-back of the big hand to 12!

An absolutely beautiful watch on the polished centre link Oyster-style bracelet.
