I agree it is a budget watch, as Seiko units go, however it has never given a speck of trouble in the 5 yrs I have had it. It keeps great time accuracy- loses around 3 secs per 6 mths. I set it at Daylight saving changes evert 6 months and is within 3 seconds at the next change. Had 1 battery and that's it.
Only hassle is that the buttons don't always make good contact for the stopwatch. Is this common?
Gets plenty of water dunks-no worries there.

^-^ That's what I like about Seiko Quartz, put a new battery in and away it goes, the problem re your contact is most likely dirt in the buttons, someone will be a long with a fix for you :) Bob.
