Ok, not a Seiko but when they were younger my kids loved this great Zenith Rainbow Flyback because it was so colorful and had all the chronograph dials with the flyback sweep hand. I liked it because it had that excellent El Primero movement that was used for so many years in the Rolex Daytona models before they switched to an in-house movement.

Now that they are older the kids have no interest in it. Seems most twenty and thirty-somethings today have little interest in watches ufortunately. They use their phones or have Apple/Fitbits on their wrists.

I'm very interested in that watch. I'm 39 and open to being adopted. I require very little maintenance and love old good things. Seriously though, beautiful example. I will own an El Primero one day. Maybe if I wait another 20 years they will only be a couple hundred dollars and iPhones will cost 5k.

Yes, the El Primero high beat is at 36,000 beats per hour which makes it more accurate keeping time and measuring intervals. I seem to recall that the Rolex version operated at 28,800 bph. Rolex made other modifications too, like removing the date.
