How long have you owned the watch? Newly received and it arrived running fast or has it been in your collection and developed over time? I am just curious as to how this sort of movement behavior occurs?

When I received the watch it was working fine,2 years ago. The accuracy problem arrived one day.
I order a demagnetyser, the blue box.

I've added the day wheel mod to a few 6R15s and dropped them into SKXs. Easy enough to do.

This is the reverse of what our OP wants to do - so the question is- I am wrong to do it?

My vote is for the 14$ chinese demagnetizer, but also treating yourself to a service by a watchmaker - you may very well make a friend in the process and help keep an independent watchmaker in business.
