Don't know where my brain was a few days ago when I posted about the issue I had with what I called my "7290" diver getting fogged up after swimming...I meant my 7002 diver...so the question is can i put a 6309 movement into the older 7002 case....?

Look for 7009 or 7019 movement instead.

No is the answer.
This has been around the forum many times.
Other 70xx movements have been claimed to fit but part changes seem to be needed.
I'd go again for a donor movement but this one isn't around in dress watches in the way 6309's are.
If you want to use another 70xx series movement someone will be around with info about exactly what to do soon I'm sure.
