I know from experience that there are some Citizen and Pulsar movements that though they have different model numbers can actually be substituted for their Seiko counterparts. I know you can use the Y182 movement in place of a 7T32 movement. I know it for a fact because I have done it.
So I was wondering has anyone substituted the Pulsar YM62 for the Seiko 7T62 movement? The measurements on the website are the same as a spare 7T62 I have. I was curious before I drop $44 bucks on one to find out if it will work. The YM62 is manufactured by Hattori . I'm thinking it will work myself. Anyone else have any thoughts?
ok, i see on ebay have more parts for sale, if i contact him i hope i can buy on this site also some pieces that he sells on ebay, because the prices are lower.
Today I received the movement ym62 and I replaced to my watch, for me I'm not watchmaker, it wasn't easy.
The biggest difficulty was fixing the dial which is pressure-sensitive and putting the hands.
But now the watch works perfectly and there's not problem, not touch the glass is the same thickness.
This is the watch and was very espensive model some year ago
You have no idea as to how long I have spent crawling around the floor looking for a chronograph hand that has pinged out of the tweezers and disappeared. Oddly, the wife can find them in seconds🤔
