hi all, my monster second hand is slipping towards gravity and looks like it may fall off soon. I assume not wearing it is safest til repaired so a loose hand wont jam the other two hands. what do I tell the watchmaker to keep second HAND on more secure? ideas always welcome

I think he or she will know what to do.

I had some Mk. II hands that needed some closing to make them fit better. I managed to communicate this to the watch maker despite the fact that he spoke little English and I speak no Catonese!

Good luck!

Mate if he's any sort of watch maker he'll have it fixed in under 15 mins I reckon, I've gd one it a few times myself by laying the offending hand on its front and then gently drawing a screwdriver over the the hole, gently moving the burr inwards this making hole smaller, for a second hand I would reckon a small broaching tool and a quick
Squeeze to tighten it up then pop it back on
