I really need to grab a Yao one of these days. The Doxa fix has been done, as has the Spring Drive and Grand Seiko. I want a Tsunami to support Noah and his excellent craftsmanship but the Yao's are exceptional watches. I saw one at a WIS meet and the quality is obvious. :)

Well, it's not a Yao but it was certainly inspired by MkII.
I wanted to build a Milsub from the time I stumbled across the MkII site. Here it is. I do have a MkII dial to go on this one when/if I tire of this one. Would that make it a MkII? ;)

Such a shame that he is moving out of the parts supply business. :(

Kind regards
Dave

Sandoz (Singapore) with MKII hands and dial:

MKII Stingray wiht Hadley Roma bracelet. (The endlugs are a straight fit!):

LRRP with unknown but very comfortable bespoke strap:

Vantage: the watch that lead the way for Rolex! They just updated their Explorer I and it looks like the Vantage now:

Incomming: MKII's Tornek Rayville

and MKII's Kingston

I keep hoping I'll find a Stingray in the street or under a bush or something but hasn't happened yet. Maybe one will appear in my mailbox with a return address from Ohio in exchange for a Yankees cap. :D
