I really need to grab a Yao one of these days. The Doxa fix has been done, as has the Spring Drive and Grand Seiko. I want a Tsunami to support Noah and his excellent craftsmanship but the Yao's are exceptional watches. I saw one at a WIS meet and the quality is obvious.
Well, it's not a Yao but it was certainly inspired by MkII.
I wanted to build a Milsub from the time I stumbled across the MkII site. Here it is. I do have a MkII dial to go on this one when/if I tire of this one. Would that make it a MkII?
Such a shame that he is moving out of the parts supply business.
I keep hoping I'll find a Stingray in the street or under a bush or something but hasn't happened yet. Maybe one will appear in my mailbox with a return address from Ohio in exchange for a Yankees cap.
