Decided to commit to downsizing the watch collection, so I traded my full 42mm Bond quartz for this 36mm midsize auto version. Just replaced the bracelet for one of my leathers....feels lighter and just right!

Yeah, I know...I guess the trend for larger watches has still caught the public eye. I loved my JSAR marathon at 43mm. My quartz full size, like yours, was not getting wear time so I tried selling it but no takers. Then a fellow in Florida offered a trade. Now I find reaching for the midsized overtaking the 41+ mm watches in the collection!

That's a new definition of "downsizing" a collection. I always thought it meant having fewer watches not the same number but smaller.

I've found I can't really wear anything larger than 40-41mm so my collection is definitely of smaller watches. I don't think I currently have anything over 39mm.

I'm doing three of the 'Bond' Omegas at the 'mo.

A quartz one for an overhaul and a very hard to get setting pinion.

A auto for an overhaul, link and crown
Another auto that probably needs a new mainspring and crown.

They're a nice model and are a good everyday watch :)
