Work-In-Progress Photographs

PLEASE INSPECT THE PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE CONDITION OF THE WATCH
AS THESE ARE TO BE REGARDED AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION

THERE MAY BE LIGHT SURFACE SCRATCHES (WATCH IS OVER 20 YEARS OLD!) UPON VERY CLOSE INSPECTION
WHICH WERE NOT POSSIBLE TO REMOVE DURING THE RESTORATION, BUT THESE DO NOT DRAW ATTENTION

SHOULD YOU REQUIRE ANYTHING FURTHER, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME

THE WATCH HAS NOT BEEN PRESSURE TESTED FOR WATER RESISTANCE
SO SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN UNDER WATER

I DO NOT HAVE ANY HISTORY ON THE WATCH, BUT DURING THE RESTORATION THE FOLLOWING WORKS WERE UNDERTAKEN:

FEATURES:
New Domed Japanese Crystal installed
New Genuine Seiko Capacitor installed
Movement and Gaskets removed and all parts ultrasonically (3 stage) cleaned
Case and bracelet restored to 'as new' condition with exception of a few odd deeper scratches which could not be taken out
Seiko silicone grease applied to case back gasket

Vintage watch from July 2000
Stainless Steel Case
Original Quick-Release Stainless-Steel Clasp Bracelet (wrist size up to 71/2" - 3/4")
Subtle Gold Accents - hour markers, hands, logo, crown
Seiko Kinetic* - powered my movements of your wrist
Seiko Auto Relay - watch will stop when running low on power, but 'wake-up' and correct itself to the correct time once shaken/worn
Date will require resetting with this feature

*Watch will run off the capacitor / battery if taken off and left unworn, but this will not be indefinitely. It needs to be worn regularly to keep the capacitor / battery charged
