Not very often I get diverted from Seiko, but saw this version of the Zenith El Primero at Basel 2010 - pics stolen from the webwebweb,

bad news that it is Ltd ed.(150 I think?) and £6 000.

But there's also a bracelet to fit and it's simply the nicest blue I ever did see.... what do you think? (Praying for a lottery win)....

High beat chronograph......

I guess if it helps, the new high beat GS without the chronograph isn't priced too far away.
They're not bad, but there are a few other GS and other Seikos in front of those, for me, although the green one is nice, albeit sold out (Ltd ed). I like those 72-hr power reserves (with the power reserve dials, not the plain, newer ones) and that GMT auto with the engraved bezel (SBGM001?) which has just ceased production, and.....

that sunray blue on the Zenith (see 2nd pic) is mesmerizing.................... hi beat is a bonus, but what a blue!

Wow what a nice piece! That is sexy. What were they thinking when they came to the clasp though!
