and its a Pulsar! I picked up this y514-6009 on the bay back in November and got my hands on it over Christmas when I was home. It dates to 1981 and shares the crown with the 6309. The bezel is slightly smaller than a 6309, but with the crown at 3 and the longer lugs it still ends up a nice size. When i bought it I was hoping the bezel would swap, but no such luck. It takes a 30mm crystal that appears to be pressed in, rather than the retaining ring of the 6309. It uses the same click ball setup as the 6309 and has a good solid feel with the easy to grip bezel. I think if I were right handed I'd feel diferently about it, but having a large crown at 3 doesn't bother me. It has 20mm lugs and the case is superbly comfortable. The y514 movement is basically a 7545. I want to restore it, but that'd mean not wearing it for a bit, and it's been on my wrist the past few weeks.
