This is one of several tell-tales about the legitimacy of a 6030T dial ...

(63) 6139-600x -R and -T dials | The Watch Site

Maybe @DCVW will feature the watch in the next #FeikoFriday. Oh, wait...

Just for the record, in case some future buyer ever decides to search on the internet for their watch, this franken had serial number 4N0646 and was purportedly a 6139-6002 with a WATER 70m RESIST 6030T dial.

😂😂@ewand i still remembered when you were erroneously “featured” in #feikofriday and had to prove your way out of it
Yeah, well I didn't necessarily have to "prove" my watch was genuine, I just made the point that it was (and sent high res images), and that the post was wrong. TBF, the text of the post was corrected but you can't remove a single image from a post on IG so the photo stayed on the post (DCVW on Instagram: “We get a lot of people that reach out to us, alerting us to #feiko examples for sale on various platforms (in particular eBay), most state…” )

Anyway, it went to a good home - a collector I've met years before and had a beer with. All's well that ends well.

It’s a shame. Perhaps it was mentioned in his dealers ad, haven’t read that by now. I also wonder that nobody on IG did speak out.
Edit: Just look at the lume in the close up above.

wow somebody pointed it out IG now @DCVW deleted the post and the page is gone too.

Let’s see if he owns up to it.

Also had some forgettable recent experiences with DCVW, watches claiming to be serviced that were not, broken rotors on arrival, crown settings not working, “loose” descriptions etc - and I paid a lot for the watches...he’s blocked me now. A shame as I thought he was one of the good guys. Shakes your confidence.

really now...that's good to know. I won't send anyone to buy as the prices they ask should reflect the quality of the watch. it doesn't appear to be the case. buy the seller is true I guess. and others' experiences we've seen in the past here have not been so great as well.

Dcvw is all smoke and mirrors catering to ig.
I discovered a rubber gasket in place of movement tension ring, EVEN after having gone back to them for non-working issues not more than a month or so after being sold to a third party as fully overhauled. Bs!

That’s disappointing considering the price that’s being asked for the watches.

I understand that mistakes were made sometimes even by expert but in case of the silver pogue it is a bit disingenuous or misleading to state that resist dial were still made in 74.
