Hi all,
Could anyone advise the part number of the crystal in a 5256 8010 King Seiko special, and where I might find a replacement.
Not bothered if its original or a sternkreuz part #
Thanks. Matt.

That's great, much apreciated, I can't get the hang of the search in JB or the like!
Can you advise the best way of removing the bezel. Its deep set into the case behind the lug shoulders with no sign of an entry point for a case knife?
I'm worried I'll mark the case!

Wow, that's an information gold mine.
Thank you for that.
Do I understand right that just the glass pushes out from the inside, or the bezel also?

With the bezel.

This glass comes pre-bonded with the bezel.

I am 99% sure that it is the same thing. Possibly just some minor change made to the plating or something.

Okay, I've been reliably informed the
290G05GNSO will fit the 5256 8010, its the same crystal and bezel as the following :
0703-8010, 0843-8010, 0843-8018, Elnix.
I just heated mine to aid removal, and instead of the complete bezel coming off just the glass popped out!
A very un special looking bevel edged 29mm flat glass. So I'm on the hunt for a new glass to put in, should be around £4 a big saving over the price of the complete unit (£29)
