Just picked up one of the new Seiko Sawtooth tunas SUN 019. Great value for the price, from the first batch to arrive in the UK.

I was worried about that, but have been wearing it for 12 hours and it has a six month charge already.
Amazing pick-up, FH - Great pics too, especially the first two and the last one, showing the height - this is killing me! (see my reply to Chuen (xzqt) who got one the other day. I'll have to wait until early September.

Just interested to know where you got it, as last time I looked (last week), Seiko UK hadn't got any mention of Prospex and even Jura watches (our UK based GS distributor) didn't mention it. So apart from the original Seiko press release which said it would be 660 Euros in EU, I thought it might not even make it to the UK officially, so I went with Arizona Fine Time who as far as I could see were the only place in the world where you could pre-order - just interested as I'm obviously missing something...... Last question, did you have to remove any links (my wrist is 8" so I'm hoping you removed one?).

Thanks Neal and enjoy that watch - (just driven home from 2 days in London helping daughter move digs at Uni - don't tell me you live en route and I could have called in for a quick look at the beast instead of sitting in a traffic jam for hours?!!!!) :)

I kept phoning Seiko they told me 100 were coming this week ans gave me a local dealer who preordered it for me. Live close to London, have sent you a PM. (Sorry misread your message thought you were en route)

I had 1 link removed so will be fine for an 8" wrist and it is MASSIVE and HEAVY
Thanks for the info Neal and the offer of viewing etc., (saw the PM) but we're home now, as you realised. M25 was a car park over the last two days anyway, it said on the radio, so probably wouldn't have had time, but maybe one of these trips we might meet up (she's still got a year or two to do down there).
All good points re heavy, massive and tall. My MM300 was fine one click out on the extension (sold that now) but SARB045 is slightly too tight on hot days. I don't think with the width of the SUN that I will be able to wear it between my wrist bone and my hand either, looking at your pics you have it the elbow side of the bone. I have a big Casio which I have to wear like that but I may consider surgery to file that pesky bone down :)
