It is with a heavy heart that I'm announcing that our long time friend Jonathan Koch (aka Swedefreak) has passed away after a short battle with cancer. Jonathan was a long time MAJOR figure in the lives of Seiko collectors the world over and especially the SCWF family. A true mensch in every sense of the word, you will be sorely missed my friend.

For our community this is sad news, but based on the occasional updates we got, it is for the best. I have lost relatives to cancer, and have another who is currently battling it. Having seen people going through what he was going through, and knowing the inevitability of the situation, it really is for the best. My prayers go out to his family, and I hope they can find peace in that he is no longer suffering.
