I have never seen a 6139 chronograph that looked anything like this example. Especially the type of case? Anyone ever seen something like this or is this just some sort of frankenSeiko?

Yes, it's real except the case numbers should be 6139-6040 or 6041.

Orange or a gray dial color.

That probably explains why only a poor picture of the back case was posted hoping the incorrect case back would not be noticed. I had to blow up the picture to make out the 6139-7060 numbers on the back case.
