the last few times i tried to check dates it told me the info was not on file. i thought it was the watch info i was using so i tried using the numbers from a watch that was successful before and it came up as not on file also... i finally gave up.

You can usually tell the age by the style of the watch (combined with the numbers on the caseback obviously)

60/70/80/90's watches tended to have rather different design cues, and a quick google of the calibre number will usually give you an idea of when that particular calibre was in use.

hi. just joint the forum....
my dad left my a seiko watch but have no idea how old it is or if it is complete...who can help me with any info
